@Amber, I meant to send you some follow up questions because your lede is so interesting:from the flute to social media! I wondered to myself what were the steps and major decisions that led you from A to B. Feel free to fill in any gaps; I can always update the profile!

@Zackery. Your work sounds pretty interesting, too. Maybe we can test drive your job...

This is the second time I've read about Amber. I have to say, I'm very jealous of her job. Last semester I was finishing an internship at an ad agency that where the owners were really interested in adding a social media role. I was tasked with writing the proposal and I referenced Amber's job as a Community Director. Now I'm happily contracting and working on developing social/PR campaigns as a contractor. I love it.

Also, I am "workshifting." I work in the agency's office on some days, at home on others or wherever is convenient the rest of the time. I really do love my job.

Great post and I wish you much success.

Hi Amanda.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to share my work with your readers. It's funny when I read it back how many other things there always seem to be to say. But this world is moving so fast, it might change again tomorrow. :)

Appreciate the opportunity to be involved, and look forward to reading more profiles on your blog in the future.

Cheers,
Amber
